Creative Business Innovations is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer for our client, a Tier 1 Honda supplier, to support quality systems, manufacturing processes, and continuous improvement initiatives within a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment. This position plays a key role in ensuring products meet customer specifications and company quality standards while supporting production operations and problem-solving activities.

Primary Responsibilities
Investigate and resolve internal and external quality issues and customer complaints
Conduct statistical data analysis to establish product standards and reliability
Provide technical and statistical support to cross-functional teams
Utilize quality tools such as FMEA, PQCT, Operation Standards, and Procedures
Lead and support continuous improvement activities (5S, Kaizen, Quick Hits, Six Sigma)
Oversee calibration and validation testing for new models or material/process changes
Perform Root Cause Analysis (Honda 5P process), Poka-Yoke, and error-proofing implementations
Support ISO 9001 & 14000 compliance and plant audit readiness
Perform Production Associate duties as needed to support quality initiatives
Skills & Competencies
Strong problem-solving, time management, and decision-making abilities
Proficiency in SPC (Statistical Process Control) and MiniTab software
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision
Hands-on knowledge of all production areas/stations
Experience working in cross-functional teams and building internal/external relationships
Job Requirements
Must wear PPE and uniform as required
Physically able to lift 30–75 lbs and perform repetitive physical movements
Must be available to work assigned shift, overtime, weekends, shutdowns, and holidays
Must comply with all company policies, ISO standards, and safety protocols
Supervisory Responsibility
Oversees and evaluates assigned quality units, executing responsibilities in line with company policies and legal standards
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field
2–5 years of experience in Quality Control or manufacturing
Experience in an automotive or high-volume production environment preferred
Salary
$65,000 to $75,000
