Creative Business Innovations is seeking a motivated Engineer for our client, a Tier 1 Honda supplier, to support manufacturing and production operations within a fast-paced automotive environment. This position will work closely with production, quality, and maintenance teams to support process improvements, troubleshoot manufacturing issues, and assist with continuous improvement initiatives on 2nd shift operations.

Primary Responsibilities:
Responsible for conducting and completion of PFMEAs as required by the Design and Development Process
Ensures that mitigation actions are completed and affected documents are updated accordingly
Responsible for Supplier Quality Verification activities as related to incoming inspection of parts
May assign additional responsibilities to the Quality Control Technician
Responsible for issuing NCRs for Supplier and In-house non-conformances in accordance with our QMS
Works in conjunction with the Quality Control Technician
Analyze internal NCR’s for corrective/preventive action potential and provides updates to management
Responsible for assessing the work cell assembly process quality
Works in conjunction with the engineering team for root cause analysis for nonconformances
Leader of CC & CAR/PAR team. Facilitates CARs related to internal issues
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, primarily those impacting production, testing and shipping
Signatory authority for Declarations of Conformity
Site lead for EHS initiative
Responsible for both internal and external calibration process and activities
This includes prototype and production test stands
May call upon both the Quality Control Technician and/or R&D Test Engineering Supervisor for activities related to calibration
Secondary Responsibilities:
Provide organization-wide guidance, training and support of our QMS and SAP
Internal auditor for our QMS
Assist in selecting the appropriate quality tools and techniques to determine required product inspection and testing
Aid in the establishment of product inspection and test processes
Aid in determining applicable fixtures and gauges
Aid in the implementation of new/modified requirements within the QMS and organization
Education/Experience:
A Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from an accredited four-year college or university
3 to 5 Years Experience Required
Key Competencies:
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate ideas and concepts into practical solutions
Knowledge and demonstrated application of quality methods and tools
This includes but is not limited to:
ISO 9001, IATF 16949, FMEA, understanding of Corrective, Preventive Action and Management Review Processes, core tools
Good time management and planning skills
Project management experience is a plus

5:00 PM to 1:30 AM
Salary:
$75,000 to $85,000
